Dear Moore 24 Family,
I am writing to remind everybody that the annual Moore 24 year-end party is coming up soon. It will be held at Santa Cruz Yacht Club November 19 at 5:00. For those who have not been to a Moore 24 party in Santa Cruz, it is always a great time.
This year's event is particularly special for the fleet. We will be hosting an online auction with the proceeds benefiting the Verutti family. For those who have not seen the auction website, I invite you to check it out here http://moore24.org/auction/.
Several generous people have donated fantastic items for the event. We are looking for more. If you have an item or service that could be auctioned, just follow the link on the auction page and press the "donate an item" button. If you have a protector, tugboat, or cargo ship, let's get a ride on it auctioned. How about a week at a vacation house? Do you have any spare Moore 24 parts? Let's auction them off.
We will also be hosting a dinner at SCYC the night of the event. Tickets are $25 with all profits going to the fund. Ticket and reservation information will be coming out soon.
No matter if you are new to the fleet or a salty veteran, we welcome all who want to share the fun. If you have wanted to get more involved in the fleet, this is the perfect night to meet the greatest people from the greatest fleet.
